Mobile app

Use the ChapterPulse companion app for one-tap event check-in, walk-in registration with offline support, and Pulse AI insights on your phone.

1

Download the app

ChapterPulse is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The mobile app is included with the Insights plan.

2

Open the ChapterPulse app and sign in with the same email and password you use on the web. The app uses the same account, roles, and permissions as your web login.

3

Check in attendees

The Check-In tab shows today's and yesterday's events. Tap an event to see its attendee list, then tap any name to mark them as checked in. Tap again to undo. The list shows real-time stats (checked in vs. total) and a separate walk-in count.

Use the search bar to filter by name. By default, checked-in attendees are collapsed to keep the remaining list short. Tap "Show checked in" to expand the full list.

4

Add walk-in attendees

Tap the + button to add someone who did not register online. Enter their name and optionally their company, chapter member status, and amount paid.

As you type, the app searches your chapter's member directory. If a match is found, you will see a warning with the member's PMI number and company so you can confirm whether they already registered online and may appear after the next data sync.

5

Offline support

Check-ins and walk-ins work without an internet connection. When you are offline, a banner appears at the top of the screen and all operations are queued locally on the device.

The queue syncs automatically when connectivity returns or when you bring the app back to the foreground. Pending items are processed in order. If a sync fails due to a server error, the remaining queue is preserved for the next attempt. Items older than 48 hours are discarded.

6

Pulse AI insights

The Insights tab gives you the same conversational AI chat as the web app. Ask questions about your chapter data and get answers with bar, line, and pie charts. Sessions auto-save so you can pick up where you left off. Saved queries are shared between web and mobile.

7

Permissions

The mobile app uses the same role-based permissions as the web app. You need the Events: Check-in permission to access the check-in tab, and the Reports: Insights permission (Insights plan) for Pulse AI. If a feature is not visible in the app, check your assigned role with your chapter admin.
